Territory. It's just huge!
Summer English School ATC University College Dublin — summer school in IrelandUniversity College Dublin, Stillorgan Road, Belfield, Dublin 4, Ireland
The Irish hospitality began as soon as we arrived at the airport. Despite our late arrival (one o'clock in the morning) they waited for us and accompanied us to the bus. They checked us in quickly and gave us a packed lunch.
In general, the locals are much more positive than the British. We were very pleased with the attitude of the school administration. Many questions were resolved before they could arise. On all of our trips we had an assistant who actively communicated with the children so that they could practice the language even outside the classroom.
Teaching. The children were constantly assigned homework, they had hectic projects, and in the evenings they would sit in the kitchen for long periods of time and work something out. At evening reflections, there were more impressions of study than excursions and field trips. The quality of teaching spoke for itself: even kids with a low level of language by the middle of the trip boldly communicated with foreigners.
The school also has a strict approach to the selection of teachers. Thus, on our complaint, we fired the teacher who spent a lot of time on her phone. The children were also forbidden to use gadgets during their studies.
Territory. It is just huge! Soccer fields, lawns, basketball courts, swimming pool and gymnasium. There are also places for walks.
Weather. It really changes four times a day. So waterproof shoes, windproof outerwear and clothing must be with you. The wind blows there all the time. Such a feeling that runs a big air conditioner. But for the joy of asthmatics and allergists - the air is always fresh and clean.
Excursions: There are a lot more interesting places than it may seem. So, this year we discovered an excursion to the Buttlers chocolate factory. Of course Ireland's specialty is nature. Take more time in Phoenix Park, it's impossible to walk through it - rent bikes.

UCD has a great, spacious area
Summer English School ATC University College Dublin — summer school in IrelandUniversity College Dublin, Stillorgan Road, Belfield, Dublin 4, Ireland
University College Dublin is a great option if you want to see Dublin and the surrounding area and improve your English, because the school is really the strength of this summer language camp. Progress was noted by all the students in the group.
UCD has great, spacious grounds, good campuses, a swimming pool, gym, two large fields and two ponds as well as a store, pharmacy and cafe. You are allowed to stay in blocks of 6 students each with their own room and bathroom. For 6 people - a common kitchen with microwave, kettle, stove and toaster.
To the city - 20 minutes by bus, you can buy a local pass, it's cheaper, and this pass can be used to go to the nearby neighborhoods, which deserve attention. Do not forget to install the Dublin Bus app, which will periodically save your life.
Be sure to bring warm clothes (for the cold fall), a warm scarf and an umbrella/raincoat.
And be prepared that no matter what, you will fall in love with the most picturesque country and people!

2. If you book a transfer, the child will be met at the airport by a school representative with a sign with the student's name.
